American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 2 years of experience in interventional cardiac procedures for a 13-week travel contract requiring ARRT, RCIS, or CCI certification.

Cardiac Cath Lab setting at an acute care facility
-
Procedures include interventional cardiac, pacemaker and temporary pacemaker insertion, vascular, TAVR, Rotablator atherectomy, and ventricular assist device insertion

5x8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
-
On-call required approximately 7–10 days per month, including one weekend per month

Candidate must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required

Travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered

Must be able to scrub interventional cardiac cases, pacemaker procedures, and vascular cases

ARRT (R), RCIS, or CCI certification required

BLS and ACLS required

ARRT required if no RCIS; RCIS required if no ARRT
-
IV therapy skills required
-
Permanent, in-hand state license required; temporary licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable

Two professional references required for consideration

Valid driver's license and Social Security card copies required for consideration

Responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating interventional cardiac procedures, pacemaker and temporary pacemaker insertions, TAVR, Rotablator atherectomy, ventricular assist device insertion, and vascular procedures

Skills in IV therapy and assistance with central line insertion and management are expected

Holiday rotation is required, with limited RTO during holiday periods

Every other weekend coverage is required

Pre-start facility modules are required and average approximately 4 hours to complete
