Position Overview
Climbing Higher EI is a clinician-owned and clinician-led Early Intervention agency providing therapy services and evaluations to children and families throughout New York City. We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Early Intervention Staffing Coordinator to support the daily staffing operations of our Early Intervention program and work closely with agency leadership as part of a forward-thinking organization.
This is more than a scheduling role. The Staffing Coordinator plays a key role in helping children and families access services quickly and efficiently by connecting families with qualified therapists, supporting day-to-day staffing needs, and supporting provider relations throughout NYC.
This position is ideal for someone looking to grow within healthcare administration, Early Intervention operations, provider relations, recruiting, or staffing coordination.
This is a full-time (M-F), in-office position located in Queens, NY.
Experience working in the NY Early Intervention Program is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate staffing of Early Intervention cases throughout NYC
- Contact providers regarding available cases and staffing opportunities
- Match providers based on location, discipline, schedule availability, and language needs
- Follow up on case starts, scheduling, and staffing status
- Track open cases and assist in reducing delays in service initiation
- Assist with recruiting efforts and provider outreach initiatives
- Support provider onboarding coordination and communication
- Build and maintain professional relationships with providers
- Maintain organized staffing records, spreadsheets, and internal systems
- Communicate staffing updates and priorities with leadership
- Support daily operational and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Early Intervention staffing, recruiting, scheduling, or therapy coordination experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills by phone, text, and email
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and problem-solve
- Strong follow-through and attention to detail
