Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Sales Manager to lead our retail sales team and drive business growth. Duties
- Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse sales team to achieve and surpass sales targets through effective coaching and performance management.
- Develop and implement innovative sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and merchandising plans to increase store revenue.
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, pricing adjustments, and product placement to maximize sales opportunities.
- Conduct hiring, interviewing, onboarding, training, and employee orientation to build a high-performing team aligned with company standards.
- Manage store operations including cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash register reconciliation.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and maintaining a welcoming shopping environment.
- Supervise daily store activities such as stocking, merchandising, inventory control, and shift management to ensure smooth operations.
Experience
- Proven experience in retail sales management or assistant manager roles with demonstrated success in meeting sales goals.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases.
- Familiarity with retail tools such as POS systems, inventory management software, and marketing platforms.
- Knowledge of retail math including pricing strategies, budgeting, and sales analysis.
- Experience in recruiting, training & development of staff, employee orientation programs, and performance evaluations.
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, customer service excellence, merchandising techniques, and store management best practices. Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
