A lovely family based in Central Park, NY is seeking two part-time Nannies with experience caring for toddlers to share care for their 2.5-year-old child. If a candidate is available for both shifts, the family is also open to hiring one Nanny on a full-time basis instead.
The ideal candidate is nurturing and loving, with a genuine passion for building a close bond with young children. This is a permanent position with a consistent weekly schedule and occasional weekend availability.
Responsibilities
- Providing attentive, engaging care throughout the day
- Planning and leading age-appropriate activities to support cognitive, social, and physical development
- Preparing healthy, age-appropriate meals and snacks
- Managing the child's laundry
- Supporting daily routines, including naps and mealtimes, to ensure consistency
- Encouraging early learning through play, reading, and creative activities
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing environment
- Communicating regularly with parents on the child's progress and needs
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9am–12pm and 4pm–8pm.
- Occasional weekends
Skills
- Proven experience working with toddlers
- Strong background in nannying within private homes or residential settings
- Warm, affectionate personality with a natural connection to young children
- Fluent English (essential), Italian, Greek, or Spanish (plus)
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
