We are seeking a Cabinet and Counter-top installer or installer apprentice. In this role, you remove any existing cabinetry and install cabinets according to specifications. You will also train in how to build and install laminate counter-tops. We expect this person to progress into being a project lead and work independently at the end of their training. Wages will increase with increased responsibility. If you are detailed oriented and love seeing the results of your hard work then this job may be the right one for you. All applicants must have experience using hand and power tools, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
Job Duties
- Install cabinets according to written or verbal instructions
- Measure room or installation area for project quotes
- Follow installation plan to ensure quality of installation
- Build and install laminate counter tops
- Clean up the job site after installation
Job Qualifications
- Experience with hand tools
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Prior cabinet making or installation experience is not required
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings
- Physical strength and stamina
