Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Catering Event Staff to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional guest services at various events, ensuring a seamless dining experience. Responsibilities
- Set up event spaces with tables, linens, and serving stations according to event specifications
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, adhering to food safety standards
- Buss tables and clear dining areas promptly during and after events
- Replenish supplies and ensure cleanliness of service areas throughout the event
- Engage with guests professionally to enhance their experience and address any needs or concerns
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of all catering functions
- Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations
Skills
- Prior experience in the food industry, catering, or hospitality is preferred
- Strong guest services and guest relations skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Experience in banquet service, food service, or restaurant settings is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during special events as needed
- Previous experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or hotel/coffee service is a plus
