Spectrum for Living, a New Jersey not-for-profit organization, helps adults with developmental disabilities attain their maximum potential by providing quality housing and clinical services in state-of-the-art facilities and in the homes of families caring for disabled loved one.
Shifts Available (Full-Time, Part Time, & Subs Needed):
Responsibilities and Duties
- Client Care: Ensure all Clients are clean, well-fed, and properly cared for at all times, including assistance with toileting, dressing, grooming, feeding, and laundry as needed.
- Transportation: Provide transportation for residents to medical appointments or activities using the company van.
- Meal Support: Assist with meal preparation, serving, feeding, and cleanup.
- Effective Communication: Clearly and concisely communicate relevant information related to client care.
- Staff Integration: Facilitate the integration of new staff members into unit activities and routines.
- Basic Computer Skills: Utilize basic computer skills to document care, maintain records, and communicate effectively.
- Qualificationsand Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid NON-PROBATIONARY NJ or NY Driver's License (Driving is required)
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift 50 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodations)
- MUST be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
