Job Summary:
We’re looking for a friendly, dependable, and enthusiastic Sales Associate to represent our handcrafted lavender products at various Farmers Market locations. If you love artisan goods, enjoy talking to people, and take pride in creating a warm and welcoming customer experience, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Greet market visitors, share the story behind our products, and provide helpful, positive interactions.
- Sales & Transactions: Promote and sell handmade items such as candles, soap bars, sprays, and dried florals. Accurately handle both cash and card payments
- Stall Setup & Breakdown: Load, transport, assemble, and take down market stall materials. Ensure the display is tidy, inviting, and well-stocked throughout the day.
Compensation: This role pays a flat rate of $100 per Farmers Market day worked (covering setup, the market shift, and breakdown/travel), plus tips. A typical Farmers Market day runs about 4 hours, though the flat rate applies regardless of exact time spent. Additional market days may be offered based on availability and performance.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
