Dean’s Diner located in Blairsville PA, is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Manager to lead the staff supporting a 24/7 operation. You will take a hands-on approach in focusing the team on culinary proficiency, safety protocol, and delivering a quality customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate the diner in an efficient manner, always promoting friendly service and high-quality food.
- Maintain all areas of the restaurant: clean, sanitized, organized and running smoothly.
- Manage labor, food costs, and inventory.
- Hire, train, coach, and develop team members.
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Menu planning
- Servsafe certification and adherence as required.
- Effectively scheduling of employees to meet customer demand.
- Implement best practices for consistency across employees/shifts.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership history with the ability to motivate and lead others.
- Prior experience in the industry.
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and food preparation methods, able to work all stations.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
