The Bulk Puller Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate and timely collection of bulk raw materials from the warehouse storage to support production batches. This role ensures materials are prepared and staged in accordance with production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols. The position plays a critical role in inventory control, traceability, and supporting efficient production workflows.

Collect raw materials in bulk quantities according to batch tickets/production orders, following FIFO (First In, First Out) protocols.

Accurately identify and stage materials based on internal product codes, lot numbers, allergen classification, and storage requirements in the correct sequence for batching.

Use pallet jacks, forklifts, or other PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks) to move products safely and efficiently.

Communicate any inventory shortages or discrepancies to the PreWeigh Supervisor.

Ensure all bulk movements are accurately recorded in the inventory system (ERP).

Maintain cleanliness and organization of bulk storage and staging areas.

Dispose of damaged or expired materials following appropriate procedures.

Follow all safety, GMP, and food safety protocols during material handling activities.

Palletize staged raw materials and load them into trucks following specific guidelines to ensure safe transportation.

Strong attention to detail for reading Batch tickets and identifying materials.

Familiarity with allergen handling, allergen storage, and traceability requirements.

Ability to follow schedules and respond quickly to changing production needs.

Proficiency in using handheld scanners or warehouse software (preferred).

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

Basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide and convert decimals) and documentation skills.

Effective communication skills for coordination with production and warehouse teams.

12 years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred.

Experience in food, raw ingredients, or chemical warehousing is highly preferred.

Familiarity with food safety and allergen control procedures is a plus.

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and basic OSHA regulations preferred.

Ability to read, write, and interpret Batch tickets, work orders, and inventory documentation.

Ability to perform basic math calculations reliably and efficiently.

Strong organizational and communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 55 lbs regularly, with or without assistance.

Ability to lift, push, pull pallets and drums using PITs (pallet jacks, forklifts).

Frequently standing, walking, bending, and reaching in a warehouse environment.

Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (with certification or training).

Routine exposure to warehouse conditions including fluctuating temperatures, noise, and dust.

Use of PPE (e.g., gloves, safety shoes, uniforms) required, training is provided.
