Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Concrete Boom Pump Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate large-scale concrete pumping equipment to efficiently deliver concrete to various construction sites, ensuring smooth and timely project progress. Your expertise in handling heavy machinery, understanding of construction processes, and commitment to safety will contribute significantly to the successful completion of civil infrastructure projects. Responsibilities
- Operate concrete boom pumps and related heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Set up and dismantle pumping equipment, ensuring proper placement and stability according to project specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment operation, maintenance, and inspection logs in compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, concrete mixers, and other crew members to ensure accurate delivery of concrete materials.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery, perform basic maintenance tasks, and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols, including DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, site safety procedures, and equipment operation standards..
Requirements
- Proven experience operating concrete boom pumps or similar heavy construction machinery in civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with construction site safety regulations, including DOT regulations and OSHA standards.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record for operating commercial trucks.
- Knowledge of asphalt paving, concrete pumping, concrete forming, screeds, rebar installation, excavator operation, loader operation, and other paving equipment is highly desirable.
- Prior experience working on construction projects involving concrete finishing, paving, or heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Commitment to safety protocol adherence at all times during operations.
- No prior concrete pumping experience is required; however, previous concrete pumping experience is highly preferred and will be considered an advantage.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
