Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and courteously and listen carefully to their vehicle service needs.
- Review and explain repair and maintenance options, providing accurate cost estimates and timelines.
- Schedule service appointments and maintain effective communication with customers throughout the repair process.
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and completion of vehicle repairs.
- Manage service orders, process payments, and maintain detailed records of customer interactions and service history.
- Provide follow-up communication to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Stay informed about automotive products, services, and procedures to provide knowledgeable advice to customers.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or related customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to understand vehicle service and repair terminology.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple service orders efficiently.
- Proficiency with computer systems and scheduling software.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Greet customers, listen to the description of the problem, obtain customer and vehicle information
- Secure agreement from customers before repairs; cover cost estimate; and approximate time when vehicle's work will be completed
- Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacture's specifications, using maintenance menus
- Handle minor customer complaints and misunderstandings
- Follow up progress of each repair order during the day, contact customers by telephone regarding changes in the estimate or time promised
- Handle telephone inquiries and return phone messages promptly
- Deliver vehicles to customers and answer any questions, review work performed and explain charges and coverage
- Assist the service manager as necessary

REQUIREMENTS
- Two or more year’s related experience in an automotive service advisor/consultant position preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and work ethic.

- Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record.
