Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated Part-Time Seasonal Community Grounds & Maintenance Associate to help maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and overall quality of our community. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while providing courteous interactions with residents, owners, and guests.
Essential Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of community common areas, amenities, and grounds.
- Perform routine cleaning duties to ensure community spaces remain safe, clean, and well-maintained.
- Empty trash receptacles throughout the property and transport all garbage to the designated dumpster at the end of each shift.
- Walk the property regularly to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and community rule violations.
- Communicate community rules and expectations to residents, owners, and guests in a polite, professional, and respectful manner.
- Complete assigned tasks independently while following instructions and established procedures.
- Assist with general property upkeep and other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds or more.
- Must be able to walk for extended periods on both even and uneven surfaces.
- Must be able to climb four or more flights of stairs as needed.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, rain, and other seasonal weather.
- Must be able to walk the entire property multiple times throughout the shift.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with pressure washing, exterior cleaning, painting, or minor landscaping.
- Familiarity with the safe operation of basic landscaping and maintenance tools.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Must be available to work a part-time seasonal schedule.
