Overview
YOU Matter is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)!
In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD). As an RBT, you will deliver evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
You will be tasked to:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans
- Assist with activities such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting to promote independence.
- Collect accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions to inform ongoing treatment.
- Support clients in developing communication skills through teaching techniques tailored to their needs.
- Maintain detailed progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and BCBAs to support successful outcomes.
Qualifications
- Valid RBT certification.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or autism spectrum disorder is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with data collection methods common in ABA therapy settings.
- Knowledge of ABA terminology and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach when working with clients.
- Conducts oneself in a professional manner and adheres to the RBT's Code of Conduct/Ethics Code.
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
