Job Opening: Spray Technician
Pay: $25.00 per hour
We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Spray Technician to join our team. This is a travel-required position offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and opportunities for performance-based bonuses. Position Requirements
This position requires travel to project sites, and employees must be willing to stay on location for up to seven (7) consecutive days. Work schedules may vary depending on project needs. Due to weather conditions, some projects may experience downtime, requiring flexibility and patience.
Job Responsibilities
Spray Technicians are responsible for safely operating and maintaining spray equipment used to complete project work, including:
- Side-by-side utility vehicles
- Spray rigs and spray equipment
- Other equipment and implements as assigned
Additional responsibilities include:
- Safely mix, handle, and apply herbicides and other approved products according to company procedures and label requirements.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and report repair needs.
- Monitor spray applications to ensure accurate coverage and compliance with project specifications.
- Work closely with crew members to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
- Follow all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and application procedures.
- Maintain equipment in clean, safe operating condition.
- Promote a safe and productive work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating spray equipment or similar equipment is preferred.
- Experience applying herbicides or vegetation management products is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training will be provided if needed).
- CPR certification preferred (training will be provided if needed).
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to travel and stay on location for up to seven consecutive days.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
