Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team for PRN or contract position. In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care in a Home health setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with experience in various specialties such as orthopedics, and geriatrics. Your contributions will play a vital role in helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life.
Duties
- Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the supervising therapist.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes in compliance with clinic policies.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
1. Must be a currently licensed PTA in the state of employment
2. Must possess a valid state driver's license
3. Must possess automobile liability insurance
4. Must have dependable transportation, kept in good working conditions
5. Must be able to drive automobile in all types of weather conditions.
