Alternative Air is hiring an HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. We’re a locally owned company focused on quality work, honesty, and taking care of our people.
As part of our HVAC team, you’ll be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining residential and light commercial HVAC systems. You’ll work directly with customers to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and service residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Perform routine maintenance and system inspections
- Install and replace HVAC components, thermostats, and controls as needed
- Communicate clearly with customers about findings, repairs and recommendations
- Complete accurate service documentation and reports
- Maintain company standards for safety, quality, and professionalism
- Service techs rotate daily for on-call duties
Qualifications
- 1+ years of HVAC service or installation experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your time efficiently
- Professional, customer-focused attitude
- EPA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
