Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Must be ok with heights
- Must be ok working outside in the heat
- Carry and transport tools, supplies, and equipment safely around the construction site
- Support carpenters, masons, electricians, and other trades by performing basic tasks as directed
- Help with loading and unloading materials to ensure timely project progress (must be able to lift >100lbs)
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times
- Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Must be punctual and have reliable transportation to and from work
- Some Saturdays required.
Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented mindset
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly. A good attitude is a must, as well as the ability to take instruction without complaint.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly on the job site
- Basic understanding of construction site operations is a plus but not required
- Reliable work ethic with punctuality and dependability at the forefront
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is advantageous but not mandatory
