For nearly 25 years, Fortress Eyewear has designed, manufactured, and distributed quality eyewear sold through action sports, outdoor, travel, grocery, convenience, sporting goods, and specialty retailers. What You'll Be Doing
Working directly with the CEO, you'll help increase sales by strengthening our independent sales representative organization while learning the skills needed to grow into greater responsibility as the company continues to expand.
You will support the CEO in improving territory performance, coordinating sales initiatives, and identifying opportunities to grow sales. There will be opportunity to expand responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary day-to-day communication link between the CEO, internal staff, and our independent sales representatives.
- Coordinate with independent sales representatives in developing their territories, growing sales, and achieving performance goals.
- Build strong working relationships with independent sales representatives through regular communication and follow-up.
- Help ensure follow-up items, projects, and commitments stay on track by coordinating between the sales team and internal departments,
- Monitor territory performance, analyze sales trends, and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Assist the CEO in developing sales strategies, territory plans, and representative performance goals.
- Produce and analyze sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Assist in developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
- Coordinate sales meetings, product launches, trade shows, and sales initiatives.
- Work with staff to maintain sales presentations, catalogs, pricing information, and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, operations, customer service, logistics, and finance.
- Support sales prospecting and new business development.
Social Media & Sales Engagement
Modern selling extends well beyond the sales call. You'll work with our marketing team to help create social media content that supports new and heritage products, retail partners, trade shows, and the success of our independent sales representatives.
You'll encourage and support our sales representatives in using social media to strengthen customer relationships, increase brand awareness, and generate new sales opportunities.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales support, sales coordinating, marketing, or a related business role.
- Demonstrated success building relationships and helping customers or sales reps.
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and business technology.
- Interest in social media as a business and relationship-building tool.
- Experience working with independent sales representatives is a plus but not required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
Technical Skills
- Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Apple/Mac environment
- Email and video conferencing platforms
- QuickBooks experience helpful but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- $60,000–$70,000 base salary
- Quarterly bonuses of up 2.5% of annual salary subject to individual and company performance. A maximum annual bonus of 10% of annual base salary.
