We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of food handling and preparation techniques. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that every dish meets our fine dining standards.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to assist in menu planning and special catering events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
- Support the Dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques, food handling, and safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- A passion for food and creativity in menu planning is highly desirable.
- Certification in food safety or culinary arts is a plus but not required.
