JOB DESCRIPTION
Autism Spectrum Support Center is seeking for a part-time, bilingual preferred Registered Behavior Technician RBT / ABA Paraprofessional / BT (Behavioral Technician) / BMA (Behavioral Management Assistant) to drive from client to client in the greater Orange County area and go into homes to provide ABA 1:1 sessions and interventions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with developmental disabilities in home, school, and community settings.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies designed by a BCBA.
- Record accurate, real-time session data using company software.
- Work collaboratively with parents/caregivers and provide appropriate feedback on session activities.
- Develop and maintain a professional and positive relationship with families, clients, staff, and other professionals.
- Communicate routinely with the supervising BCBA regarding client progress, challenges, and program updates.
- Parent training as needed
- Maintain flexibility and be open to changes in client schedules and case assignments.

REQUIREMENT
- Minimum 6 months of experience working directly with children with Autism and/or developmental delays
- Knowledge and understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis, Functional Communication Training, and Reinforcement strategies
- High School diploma is required
- Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Must pass a DOJ and FBI background check
- Must be willing to travel to and from client homes. Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle will be required.
- Be willing to complete all onboarding requirements and participate in an initial training period.
- Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, special education, child development, applied behavior analysis, or related field (preferred)
- Relevant ABA coursework (12 units). Experience may be substituted for the educational requirements at the discretion of agency directors (preferred)
- Current TB test (preferred)
- Current CPR certificate (preferred)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT
- Must be able to run after an eloping child
- Frequent bending at the waist and knees and lifting up to 30 lbs
WORK LOCATION
- Multiple locations (Orange, Fullerton, Placentia, Buena Park, Anaheim, Garden Grove, Brea, Irvine, Huntington Beach, Lake Forest, Tustin, Santa Ana).
COMPENSATION
Clinical Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience and education

Expected hours: 10 - 25 hours per week
