Full Time CDL NIGHT Shuttle Driver with good driving record in the Sacramento, CA area
Our Shuttle drivers are responsible for the transfer of shuttle trailers to designated shuttle yards in accordance with the schedule. Plus our Shuttle Drivers are Home every day with Guaranteed 10 hour day up to 40 hours!
Work Schedule: The shift would be Sunday night and Monday night 5pm-3:30am or until shuttle is completed. Tuesday off, work Wednesday night and Thursday night 5pm-3:30am or until shuttle is complete. 4 days a week. Avg. 40-50 hours/week
Pay Rate: $32.300.00 to $35.00 per hour (DOE), Biweekly Paycheck

General Summary: The purpose of the Shuttle Driver position is to haul empty trailers to the Modesto Distribution Center, unhook empty trailers, hook up loaded trailers, and then haul the trailers back to where the shift started.
Typical Job Duties:
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections
- Report any vehicle problems & defects to Transportation manager or Maintenance.
- Operate tractor-trailer units in compliance with all DOT standards and regulations
- Transport goods in accordance with the schedule
- Properly secure loads; drop/hook trailers
- Verify load
- Unload or assist in unloading freight
- Collect paperwork for route drivers
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A license with Doubles Endorsement with Good DMV Record
- At least 2 years of CDL driving experience
- Ability to use Electronic Driver Logs
- Must be enrolled in FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Must be available to work night shifts/weekends
- Ability to pass DOT Pre-Employment Drug Screen/Background Check
Education and Experience:
- Acceptable MVR record
- Two to three years commercial driving experience, grocery distributing experience, hand truck and ramp work a plus
License and Certifications:
- Class A CDL License required
- Current medical certificate card
