What You'll Do
- Welcome members and guests with a warm, professional, and engaging attitude.
- Provide personalized shopping assistance and product recommendations.
- Deliver Forbes Five-Star service by anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations.
- Process purchases accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Answer telephone inquiries and assist with merchandise questions.
- Help maintain attractive merchandise displays and ensure the boutique is clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Assist with receiving, restocking, pricing, and inventory management.
- Build relationships with returning members by learning their preferences and providing personalized service.
- Work collaboratively with teammates to create an exceptional shopping experience.
Qualifications
Training & Experience
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Luxury retail, boutique, resort, country club, or hospitality experience is a plus.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
Job Knowledge
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and handling transactions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with a luxury resort environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequently move throughout the retail shop assisting guests.
- Lift, carry, or move merchandise up to 25 pounds.
- Use a telephone, point-of-sale system, and other retail equipment.
Schedule
- Full-time, approximately 35–40 hours per week
- Flexible schedule required, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
