JOB DESCRIPTION:
Defend Pro Group LLC is seeking dependable, professional Security Officers to join our team. This position is responsible for providing access control and maintaining a safe environment at a residential community.
We are looking for officers who are reliable, alert, and committed to showing up for every scheduled shift. This is not a position for someone looking to sit in a guard shack. Officers must remain attentive and actively perform their assigned duties throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Control vehicle access through the entrance gate.
- Check in all visitors and authorized vehicles.
- Record vehicle tag numbers and required information accurately.
- Maintain detailed activity logs.
- Enforce property rules and security procedures.
- Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and law enforcement when necessary.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must pass a criminal background screening.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods.
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
- Must be dependable with excellent attendance.
- Must be available to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.
