Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Control Coordinator to oversee and optimize our inventory management processes across warehouse operations. Duties
- Manage inventory levels through accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms like AS400, and data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify discrepancies in stock levels, shipping & receiving errors, or process inefficiencies, then develop targeted solutions for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to optimize purchasing strategies, negotiate supplier contracts, and manage logistics inventory to reduce costs while maintaining service levels.
- Oversee warehouse distribution activities including materials handling, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping & receiving operations to ensure timely delivery and inventory accuracy.
- Utilize demand planning techniques and supply chain analytics to forecast needs accurately, support production planning, and improve overall inventory control.
- Lead cross-functional communication with merchandising, retail management, and logistics teams to align inventory strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor warehouse operations for compliance with safety standards; operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment as required for heavy lifting tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics inventory management, or supply chain roles with a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management software (such as ERP systems like AS400), spreadsheets (Excel data analysis), and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform data mining, financial analysis, and root cause analysis to inform decision-making.
- Excellent negotiation skills paired with supplier management experience to optimize sourcing strategies.
- Technical proficiency in materials handling equipment including forklift operation; familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures is preferred.
- Ability to perform demand planning, production scheduling, and materials management within a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments; experience with cross-functional teams is highly valued.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks when necessary; familiarity with 3PL providers and logistics coordination is advantageous.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
