Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient task completion and adherence to established cleaning protocols.
- Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, safety regulations, and customer service standards.
- Monitor cleaning operations including industrial cleaning, laundry services, and janitorial tasks to ensure quality and consistency.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to verify cleanliness, sanitation, safety compliance, and overall presentation.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to support ongoing operations.
- Enforce safety regulations and sanitation standards to maintain a secure environment for staff and guests or clients.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective management, clear communication, and leadership that motivates staff to excel.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial work, commercial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, safety regulations, and management of janitorial services.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively manage staff and liaise with other departments or clients.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
- Experience with laundry operations and industrial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- A proactive approach to team management with a focus on safety, sanitation, and operational excellence.
