Since 1967, Bortek Industries has been helping you solve problems. We specialize in power cleaning equipment, public works equipment, and cleaning & janitorial supplies. We are a family-owned company with a select opening for an Executive Assistant & Special Projects Coordinator.
This position will serve as a trusted resource to the President, providing high-level administrative support. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their day, and takes pride in bringing organization and follow-through to situations.
The successful candidate is a natural collaborator with strong written and verbal communication skills, highly organized, proactive and able to balance competing priorities while ensuring tasks and projects come to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Support & Prioritization: Manage the President’s meetings, agendas, and meeting materials.
- Follow-Up & Accountability Management: Track action items, deadlines, commitments, and ensure work continues moving forward.
- Reporting & Business Analysis: Prepare reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and executive summaries.
- Special Projects Coordination: Coordinate projects assigned by the President and assist in driving successful execution.
- Cross-Functional Communication & Collaboration: Partner with leaders and departments across the company to facilitate communication and project progress.
Desired Experience
- 3+ years of executive assistant, project coordination, operations, administration, or similar experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 applications.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience supporting senior leaders, executives, or business owners preferred.
- Experience coordinating projects involving multiple departments preferred.
