Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide expert advice on seafood products and preparation tips
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Assist in merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, arranging displays, and maintaining cleanliness of the sales area
- Upsell complementary products such as sauces, seasonings, or cooking tools to enhance customer purchases
- Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, restocking as needed, and conducting regular product checks
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or taking orders remotely
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in seafood.
- Flexibility, Must be available at least one weekend day.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product features clearly and confidently
- Some heavy lifting up to 40lbs
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and POS operations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves or lifting boxes

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
