Job Description
We are seeking a reliable Sewing Machine Operator to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves operating sewing machines, handling textile materials, and ensuring quality production of garments.
Essential Functions
- Set up sewing machines and select the correct tools and equipment for each job
- Use tools such as scissors, knives, fasteners, templates, and measuring devices
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments (needles, threads, plates, blades, etc.)
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Keep accurate records of completed orders
- Separate finished products based on quality (approved vs. defective)
- Ensure correct sequencing of textile parts and verify color/pattern consistency
Qualifications
- Experience working with sewing machines in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to sort and prepare textile materials for production
- Good hand dexterity and coordination
- Basic communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
