* Support CNC programming for mills, lathes, and/or multi-axis machining centers.
* Work with production, quality, and engineering to troubleshoot machining issues.
* Improve tool life, reduce scrap, reduce cycle time, and improve process stability.
* Assist with fixture design, tooling selection, and cutting tool trials.
* Support first-piece inspections, capability studies, and corrective actions.
* Work with Quality on CMM results, inspection issues, nonconforming parts, and root-cause analysis.
* Help identify cost savings and continuous improvement opportunities throughout production.
Education:
* Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Machining, or a related field preferred.
* Equivalent hands-on experience in CNC machining, CNC programming, setup, tooling, or manufacturing process improvement will also be considered.
* 3+ years of CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, CNC programming, or process engineering experience preferred. Ability to work effectively as a member of the engineering team.
