Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Assistant Director of Nursing to join our healthcare leadership team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing management, education administration, and healthcare operations. Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Nursing in developing and implementing strategic plans to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
- Oversee nursing staff management, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development initiatives.
- Manage departmental budgets, monitor resource allocation, and ensure compliance with financial policies to optimize operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with educational departments to coordinate training programs and continuing education for nursing personnel.
- Lead efforts in quality assurance and compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and safety protocols.
- Support the integration of innovative healthcare practices and technology to enhance patient outcomes.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, leadership development, and staff engagement.
Experience
- Proven experience in nursing management or leadership roles within healthcare settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management.
- Background in education administration or teaching within a university or academic health center is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience working within university-affiliated healthcare facilities or academic institutions is preferred.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation processes.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
