Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Construction to lead our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project management, and quality control. This role requires a strategic thinker who can oversee multiple projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The Director of Construction will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Duties
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage project teams, including subcontractors and staff, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to safety regulations.
- Develop and implement project plans, including construction management and scheduling.
- Ensure that all work meets the required quality standards through rigorous quality inspection processes.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly and effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all project activities for compliance and reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods throughout project lifecycle
- Demonstrated expertise in quality control processes within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and tools.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Ability to conduct thorough construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
