Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in construction management, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders. As a Crew Leader, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of construction workers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.
- Coordinate daily activities on the construction site, including scheduling tasks and managing resources effectively.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for project planning and tracking progress.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets, timelines, and project schedules using tools like HeavyBid.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all crew members.
Skills
- Proficient in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, including budgeting, estimating, and quality control.
- Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret technical documents accurately.
- Experience in project scheduling and management with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
- Strong supervisory experience with the ability to motivate teams effectively.
- Knowledge of pipeline construction processes is a plus.
