Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services that suit their needs
- Provide detailed information about merchandise, including features, benefits, and pricing
- Process transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and retail math skills
- Support banking and financial service processes such as loan processing and account inquiries when applicable
- Maintain cash management procedures to ensure secure handling of cash and financial transactions
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
- Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and visual merchandising to enhance store presentation
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments
- Knowledge of banking or financial services is a plus, including loan processing and account management
- Strong math skills with basic math proficiency, retail math understanding, and 10-key typing ability
- Excellent communication skills to engage customers effectively and build rapport
- Ability to handle cash accurately, perform cash handling duties, and manage cash registers confidently
- Familiarity with financial software systems used for transactions and recordkeeping
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately in a fast-paced setting
