Shift Trainer
Full Time or Part-Time - Weekends Mandatory (Sat & Sun 7a-5:30p)
Millstone Medical Outsourcing is looking for an energetic individual to join its Quality Department as Shift Trainer. Millstone is a fast growing, fast paced medical service provider for the top Orthopedic companies in the industry. Millstone’s business focus is sterile and non-sterile packaging of medical devices. Millstone also engages in other activities, such as mechanical inspection and assembly, which are designed to meet the outsourcing requirements of medical device manufacturers seeking to reduce costs while maintaining high levels of quality, accuracy and timeliness. We are FDA and ISO registered and employ a detailed internal quality system to ensure ISO compliance.
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform on the job training supervision for new hires; perform on the job orientation training when needed.
- Perform on the job training for employees transferring departments, assembly training, and regularly scheduled/periodic training.
- Perform training verifications and training follow-up for new hires and regular employees.
- Perform annual and semi-annual trainings across all areas of the Company as needed.
- Assist with managing course content and training materials.
- Mentor area process trainers.
- Perform training needs-based assessments across all areas of the Company.
- Maintain employee training records.
- Perform other duties as requested or required across all areas of the Company.
Skills Required:
- Must be attentive to detail; ability to recognize and communicate potential issues
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and superior interpersonal and customer skills.
- Intermediate to advanced computer knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel—ability to create Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint and Word documents.
- Must be a team player—ability to work well within groups and independently.
- Ability to train others and ability to “train the trainer”.
- High School diploma required, college degree preferred.
- 1-3 years training experience is helpful.
Availability/Schedule: Part-time or Full Time available
Full time schedule: Saturday - Sunday 7am-5:30pm (20hrs) & Flexible schedule during the week to complete 40hr.
Part-time schedule: Saturday-Sunday 7am-5:30pm
