Position Summary:
We are seeking a caring and energetic Infant Teacher to join our 3mo-15mo-old classroom. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood development and eager to make a meaningful impact in young children’s lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play, learn, and grow.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities to support emotional, cognitive, social, and physical development.
- Support diaper changes and other care routines with sensitivity and respect.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Use positive guidance techniques to support behavior and classroom management.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child’s progress and daily experiences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom.
- Ensure compliance with KinderCare policies, state licensing regulations, and health/safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required; CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with toddlers or in a preschool setting is highly desirable.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and engage with children on their level (e.g., sitting/kneeling on the floor).
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to nurturing young learners.
