Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote repeat visits
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area according to food safety standards and health regulations
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing
- Develop and suggest beverage recipes to keep our menu fresh and exciting while accommodating guest preferences
- Manage bar inventory by restocking supplies, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders as needed
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service during busy hours or special events like banquets and catering functions
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer trends, and beverage presentation
- Proven experience in food service environments with a focus on fine dining or hospitality industry standards
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Ability to develop new beverage recipes and adapt offerings based on guest preferences or seasonal themes
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food safety compliance
- Experience in food handling, catering events, banquet service, or retail environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of alcohol safety laws and responsible serving practices within the hospitality industry
