Duties
- Assist pharmacist with medication preparation
- Enter prescription data accurately into pharmacy software systems while maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to data entry protocols
- Conduct pharmaceutical calculations to verify dosages and ensure safe medication dispensing in compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws.
- Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceuticals according to pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards.
- Provide excellent patient service by answering medication-related questions, supporting patient care initiatives, and ensuring timely medication delivery.
- Must be a fast learner.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in PrimeRx software and pharmacy tech experience is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, including drug regulation and state and federal pharmacy laws.
- Experience with pharmacy software systems for data entry, medication dispensing under the supervision of the pharmacist
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
