About the Role:
Join our team at Salt Patisserie LLC as a Full Time Porter / Dishwasher! This role is essential in maintaining our kitchen's cleanliness and efficiency, allowing our chefs to create delicious pastries in a clean & organized environment. The position requires you to work Tues 3pm - 10pm / Thurs & Friday 3pm - 10pm, Saturday & Sunday from 7am - 4pm. Days off would be Monday & Wednesday.
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently to support kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area
- Assist in the proper disposal of waste and recycling
- Stock and organize ingredient delivery
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Report any maintenance issues to the kitchen manager
- Deep clean kitchen on days that you are closing
- Deep clean front section of bakery days that you close.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
- Flexible schedule with availability on weekends
