We are seeking skilled CNC or Grinding Operators ready to transition into a Set Up position. About the Position
The Set Up Operator is tasked with configuring and refining CNC grinding or machining hardware to ensure components meet rigorous quality and dimensional criteria. This position is vital for bolstering production output, minimizing idle time, and maximizing overall equipment effectiveness.
Your Core Duties:

Configure and calibrate precision grinding units, machining centers, or CNC lathes.

Upload necessary tooling, programs, and offsets to ensure parts meet exact design requirements.

Input and modify operational parameters, such as tool compensation, feeds, and speeds, to help maintain a consistent production flow.

Conduct initial inspections on the first pieces produced using specialized measurement tools to ensure high-quality output.

Identify and resolve technical challenges related to processes, tooling, or machinery to keep production running smoothly.

Provide technical mentorship to Machine Operators to help improve overall team process efficiency.

Verify that every component produced adheres to strict medical and aerospace quality benchmarks.
Your Qualifications:

Prior hands-on experience in the setup of grinding or CNC machining hardware.

Deep understanding of process optimization, machine adjustments, offsets, and tooling.

Proficiency in utilizing inspection tools like gauges, calipers, and micrometers.

Strong mechanical reasoning and an ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Capacity to interpret technical specifications and engineering blueprints.
