Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Key Responsibilities
- Inspect roofs to assess damage and determine repair needs
- Install new roofing systems (shingles, metal, tile, etc.)
- Repair leaks, cracks, and damaged roofing materials
- Remove old or damaged roofs and prepare surfaces
- Measure and cut materials to fit specific roof dimensions
- Apply waterproofing and insulation materials
- Follow safety procedures and use proper protective equipment
- Work with ladders, scaffolding, and heights safely
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in roofing or construction preferred
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of roofing materials and tools
- Physical strength and stamina
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
Work Environment
- Outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically demanding (lifting, climbing, bending)
- May involve early mornings and long hours depending on the job
Pay may depend on experience
