Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Production Technician.
Production Technician Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (schedule to be confirmed)
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Location: Dayton, OH
Overtime: Saturdays as needed
Production Technician Requirements/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift
- Experience operating forklifts; forklift certification preferred
- Ability to safely use pneumatic tools and other hand tools
- Basic welding experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret basic product drawings
- Comfortable working at heights and around industrial equipment
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork
- Ability to follow written procedures and company policies
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
About the Production Technician Role
As a Production Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating manufacturing equipment and production machinery safely and efficiently
- Mixing raw materials used to produce castable refractory products
- Forming, finishing, inspecting, and packaging finished products while maintaining quality standards
- Operating forklifts to transport materials and finished products throughout the facility
- Safely using pneumatic tools, hand tools, and other industrial equipment
- Performing basic welding tasks as needed
- Operating jib and overhead cranes to safely move materials and products
- Performing routine maintenance on production equipment
- Maintaining accurate production standards and following quality procedures
- Participating in daily safety and Tier 1 production meetings
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment
- Following all safety procedures and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
