Associate Head Coach – Men's Soccer
Community College of Beaver County (CCBC)
The Community College of Beaver County (CCBC) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Associate Head Coach to assist in building and developing our NJCAA Division II Men's Soccer program. The Associate Head Coach will work closely with the Head Coach in all aspects of the program, including recruiting, player development, training, match preparation, and day-to-day operations. This position is ideal for a coach who is passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the field and is excited to help establish a competitive collegiate soccer program.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and conducting training sessions that promote technical, tactical, physical, and mental development.
- Support the recruitment of qualified student-athletes through scouting, tournaments, club relationships, and video evaluation.
- Assist with match preparation, opponent scouting, and game-day coaching responsibilities.
- Foster a positive, disciplined, and accountable team culture that emphasizes academic success, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with club, high school, and academy coaches to support recruiting efforts.
- Assist with equipment management, travel coordination, team logistics, and other administrative duties.
- Ensure compliance with NJCAA, Region 20, and CCBC policies and procedures.
- Represent CCBC and the Men's Soccer program in a professional and positive manner within the college and surrounding community.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous coaching and/or playing experience at the collegiate, club, academy, or high school level.
- Strong understanding of modern coaching principles and player development.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
- USSF, UEFA, United Soccer Coaches, or equivalent coaching certification preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license.
