JOB SUMMARY:
- To assist in the provision of physical therapy to patients in their home, under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, according to established Agency policies and procedures.
- Promotes high quality standards of care and positive outcomes
- Reports to Therapy Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education and Experience
- Graduate of Physical Therapy Assistant Associate Degree program accredited by an agency recognized by the Secretary of the United States Department of Education or the Council on Postsecondary Accreditation.
- Experience: One year of acute care experience. Additional experience in home health care preferred.
Other Qualifications
- A valid driver's license and personal vehicle
- Certification by the State of Connecticut.
- Physical, mental and sensory abilities sufficient to meet performance standards with or without assistive devices
