Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements while maintaining a high standard of guest services.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with accurate wait times.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize restaurant flow.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Support guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and guest information.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with food service operations is a plus.
- A passion for providing excellent guest relations and enhancing the overall dining experience.
- Experience in hotel or restaurant settings is advantageous.
