Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders, payments, and refunds efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all food preparation areas, dining spaces, and kitchen stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change and totals
- Support food handling procedures by following proper sanitation protocols during food prep, serving, and bussing tables
- Assist with food delivery to customers or table service in a quick service environment while managing multiple tasks seamlessly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail math is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work effectively during busy hours
- Experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is advantageous; retail or grocery store experience also valuable
