☕ Barista Position – Join the Mountain Roasting Company Team!
Mountain Roasting Company in Felton is growing and looking for a new memeber of the family. We are hiring for a new rotating shift that includes both opening and closing hours. Morning shifts start at 4:30 AM, and evening shifts wrap up around 4:00 PM—so if you're not a morning person, this role may not be the best fit!
We’re a friendly, local specialty coffee shop located in the Felton Fair Safeway Shopping Center. Established in 1991, Mountain Roasting has become a beloved community staple known for great coffee, tasty food, and a welcoming space for neighbors and groups to gather.
We’re Looking For:
- Friendly, competent baristas/food preeration with a positive attitude.
- 6 months of barista experience required; 1 year preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, self-motivated approach.
- Reliability and punctuality—showing up on time matters!
- Weekend and holiday availability.
- Must be 18 years or older.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies.
- Make sandwiches and serve bakery items.
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional service.
- Handle payments and maintain cleanliness in food and drink areas.
- Complete side work and janitorial duties as needed.
- Follow food safety guidelines (ServSafe certification required within 30 days of hire)
