Job Overview
We are a modern, state of the art Endodontics dental specialty office seeking a dental assistant. In this role, you will support dentists in providing endodontic treatment, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a smooth clinical workflow. Above all, the candidate should possess a strong work ethic and have a positive attitude for this fast paced Endodontic practice with a team mentality. Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment according to infection prevention management protocols.
- Assist dentists chairside during various endodontic procedures, ensuring all tools and materials are ready for use.
- Take dental X-rays using dental x-ray equipment and 3D scanners, adhering strictly to radiation safety standards.
- Manage patient records using EndoVision, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Order and maintain adequate supplies, ensure that equipment is functioning well.
- Support the dental receptionist duties by managing patient flow, answering questions about treatments, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Experience working as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic environment with familiarity in Endodontics preferred.
- Proficiency with EMR systems such as Dental Vision; knowledge of patient management software is highly desirable.
- Understanding of dental terminology.
- Certification or training in X-ray technology and proficiency in dental x-ray procedures.
- Knowledge of infection prevention management, aseptic technique, dental sterilization procedures, and healthcare infection control expertise.
- Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies.
- Ability to handle medical documentation accurately while adhering to HIPAA standards; experience with medical records management is preferred.

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
