Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble pizza dough, toppings, and sauces following established recipes and quality standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools efficiently and safely
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and hygienic workspace
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties or ingredient combinations
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to produce perfectly baked pizzas every time
- Support food production during peak hours by managing multiple orders with speed and precision
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and inventory management in accordance with health regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, restaurant or food industry experience preferred
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and sautéing
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures
- Experience with high-volume production environments and recipe adherence
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent food handling skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation
- Culinary experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus
- Demonstrated teamwork skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
