Sparrow Moving is a faith-based, family-owned moving company serving the Minneapolis area. We started this company because too many people have had bad moving experiences, movers who didn't care, who rushed, who treated someone's home like a warehouse. We exist to be the opposite of that.
The Role
We're not looking for someone to fill a seat on a truck. We're looking for a Master Mover, someone who takes real ownership of a job from the first box to the final walkthrough, and who has what it takes to eventually lead a crew of their own.
This is a hands-on field role. You'll be doing the work alongside the crew every day. You're the kind of person who naturally steps up, who reads the job before being told and who makes the customer feel taken care of.
The right person in this role has a clear path to a Team Lead.
What You'll Do
- Show up on time, ready to work
- Carefully wrap, pad, load, transport, and unload household goods
- Treat every customer's belongings like they're your grandmother's
- Work as part of a crew — communicate, coordinate, cover each other
- Represent Sparrow's values in every interaction with customers and teammates

Qualifications
- Moving, delivery driving, or field crew experience — required; this role is for someone who already knows the work
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record — required; must be 21+ to qualify for our auto policy
- Experience operating a box truck or similar commercial vehicle — strongly preferred
- Strong customer-facing communication — you're representing Sparrow on every job
- Hospitality background is a plus. If you've worked in hotels, restaurants, or any role built around making someone's experience exceptional, you already understand what we're after. Moving is hospitality on wheels.
